Owl & Penny is a band of ghosts who somehow learned how to write and record music while being dead. That’s not easy thing to do, so this is quite an achievement for them.
The first song has some weird kind of musical instruments in it. Maybe some trumpets, or a bunch of harps? Probably some flutes. Eighteen flutes.
The singer says words like, “I know where you go when you’re alone”, and I’m like, “how does he know that?” I don’t know if I’m comfortable with that. The chorus to that song has lyrics like, “We held the knife and skinned the doe”, and I started to become worried that maybe this band is responsible for a string of recent cat disappearances in my neighborhood. And I don’t even think they live around here.
They also say things like “HOOO HOOO HOO DAAAAAAHHH OOHHH OHHHHHOOOO”.
I think they got a crazy person to do the percussion.
You have to be very careful when you review haunted music. I give this album 34 stars.

Hands down, best review. Holy hell.
Open up your eyes,
Storm and silver light.
Sullen Moon’s phantom smile.
O’ come wake you, animal.
Án þín er ég ekkert…
Sink your milk teeth deep,
Crescent scars and bereaved.
Holding smoke, calcifer tomb,
O’ wide awake en hvar ert þú?
I fell through fields to wake your mares in the night,
So I could stand tall like weakened light through the thick and calm all their wounds while they closed every eye.
En, án þín er ég ekkert.
Án þín er ég.
